The Christmas Key

I felt absolutely terrible that I was unable to afford a gift for my nephews this Christmas. I was laying awake in bed the other night, contemplating if I should bake them something and swimming around with craft ideas. Then, it hit me. Like a ton of bricks! I should make them a children’s book!

My nephew loves to read to his younger brother and I wanted to create something for them to share for years to come. I’m a huge fan of gift giving, but I’m an even bigger fan of giving a meaningful present.

The book is about my two nephews meeting Santa Claus. In the story, he presents them with a magical Christmas key that helps to make all of their dreams come true. Because the book won’t be finished for a few days, I went to an antique store to pick up an old key that “Santa” gave me strict instructions to give to them on Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas Eve!
